New Year's Eve Vision Board Party

Happy New Year's everyone. I missed sharing some of my recipes and cooking and experiences with you all. I'm back and hopefully I'll be able to to post a little more often. With that being said I decided to throw a vision board party for a few of my friends to help us all get our vision's together and stay on track this year.

One of the reason's I decided to throw the party was to spend time with girlfriends. We're all so busy and have a lot going on and haven't been able to get together often. Plus I know we all have dreams and goals and would love to see them come true. I started this blog and my dispatching business around the same time. I even was making low content books such as personal and recipe journals. I was all over the place. I started doing cooking videos and a VLOG on relationships all in the same year while still working a part time job and trying to travel. I was on a multiple income roller coaster. Thing is they make it seem like it's so easy to do it all, but they all take work. So, I decided to do a vision board to help me get a visual of what I want and help me stay on track.

I had the party on the December 30th as not to interfere with anyone's New Year's Eve plans. I also kept it simple. I didn't want to be cooking all day. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. So, my menu needed to be simple but as we all know the older we get the more dietary restrictions and lifestyle changes everyone seems to have. In this particular group no fish, no pork and a vegetarian.

The menu I came up with was perfect, festive, and easy. Spinach artichoke dip, cranberry meatballs, buffalo cauliflower wings, a charcuterie board and cranberry mimosas. My party was to start at 7 pm. I started the meatballs around 3 pm in the crockpot. The spinach artichoke dip was next and went in the oven at about 5 pm with buffalo cauliflower wings going in soon after. A friend of mine got me a small hot buffet server that has 3 compartments to put food in and keep warm. I saved the charcuterie board for last and then decorated.

Here are some pics of the party along with the recipes. I also gave away journals to all my guest and the links are below. If anyone wants any tips on how to throw a vision board party or just a small friends gathering feel free to inbox if you need any help.

Happy New Year's again to all and remember eat responsibly.
