Hello Ladies and Gents. Today’s topic is about body odor. Most people know that there are foods that can cause unpleasant body odors. Onions & Garlic can cause bad breath that also seep through your pores when you sweat, Broccoli & Cabbage are Cruciferous vegetables that are high in fiber and can make you gassy, and Sulfur in Asparagus can make your urine smell like rotten cabbage. Not to discourage anyone from eating these vegetables, because they all have nutrients that are very beneficial to your health as well.
Body odor can also be due to hormonal changes in the body, excessive sweating, unhealthy diet and genetics. This can be especially bothersome during the summer season. For many of us that means our body temperature is rising and we’re sweating more and may notice a not so fresh smell.
Luckily, certain foods can also help to alleviate odors by deodorizing and cleansing your system. Coconut oil can be ingested or used topically. It can be used to help make a natural deodorant or cooked with foods such as Onions & Garlic to combat bad breath. Cinnamon is a spice that freshen y
our breath and improves your natural scent. Tomatoes contain natural antibacterial and antiseptic properties. These properties help reduce odor-causing bacteria. Tomatoes are also, a natural astringent. It helps shrink your pores and blocks the ducts that secrete sweat. Helping to control excessive sweating. You do need to sweat because that’s the bodies natural way of cooling down and last but not least Lemons. Lemons are a natural disinfectant. It has acidic properties that lowers the skin’s pH level which helps to combat odor producing bacteria.
Lastly, here is an extra tip for men and women: If you have funky feet. You know the kind your embarrassed to pull your socks and shoes off in front of people. Take a lemon. Cut it in half and rub on your feet and let it sit for 5-10 min before you shower. Continue to do it daily until you notice that your feet don’t stink anymore. Ladies, you remember the “Pineapple” talk?. Well, I’ve listed a juice below that will supposedly help to eliminate odor “down there” while giving the VA-jay-jay a great taste and make your skin glow.

Glow Juice-
· 3 stalks of Celery
· ½ a Cucumber
· ½ a Pineapple
· ¼ in Ginger
Chop all your ingredients and place in blender. Keep pineapple skins. Boil them in water. Use boiled water and fill to top of fruits and vegetables in blender. Blend well then strain. (You can keep pulp to use in smoothies). Drink on an empty stomach at least 10-15 min before breakfast.
